Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Not at launch. GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar has not announced a PC version, but every recent Rockstar game reached PC eventually.
When will GTA 6 come out on PC?
There is no official date. Reports point to early 2027 at the earliest, but Rockstar's own history suggests longer. Red Dead Redemption 2 reached PC 13 months after consoles (October 2018 to November 2019). GTA 5 took 19 months (September 2013 to April 2015).
Using that pattern, a realistic window for GTA 6 on PC is late 2027 to mid 2028. We will update this page the moment Rockstar confirms anything.
Why is GTA 6 not on PC at launch?
Rockstar has always launched on consoles first. Building for a handful of fixed console specs lets the team finish and polish one version, then port it to PC with higher settings, mod support and extra time for performance work.
Can you play GTA 6 on PC through cloud streaming?
Rockstar has not announced any cloud streaming option for GTA 6. Until a PC version or an official streaming release is confirmed, a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S is the only way to play. If that changes, it will be listed here.
What PC specs will GTA 6 need?
Official system requirements do not exist yet. Expect a modern graphics card and a fast SSD, given how large the console version is. Do not trust any site claiming exact GTA 6 PC requirements before Rockstar publishes them.
Should you buy a console for GTA 6?
If you want to play in 2026, yes: PS5 or Xbox Series X|S is the only way. A Series S is the cheapest option. See current GTA 6 prices and editions.
