GTA 6 Vice City
GTA 6 returns to Vice City, Rockstar's version of Miami, for the first time since Vice City Stories in 2006. This time it is set in the present day, as the biggest city in the state of Leonida.
Vice City then and now
The original GTA Vice City (2002) was set in 1986 and Vice City Stories (2006) in 1984, both soaked in 80s neon, pastel suits and synth pop. GTA 6 takes the city into the social media era: packed beaches, nightclubs, supercars, viral videos and influencers, while keeping the neon at night.
What the trailers show
Rockstar's trailers and screenshots show Ocean Beach style art deco hotels, high rise condos on the water, beach crowds, marinas full of yachts, strip clubs, gyms, and dense traffic on causeways. Many locations mirror real Miami spots, like the rows of art deco buildings along the beach and the skyline across the bay. Browse the official shots on our 3D map.
Vice City is only part of the map
